- Equality Rights try to ensure that everyone is treated with the same respect, regardless of personal characteristics such as race. Everyone should be treated the same under the law.
- English and French are the official languages of Canada. Everyone has the right to use English or French in, or in any pleading in or process issuing from, any court established by Parliament.
