טקסט Storyboard

  • John Brown

  • Dred Scott (PT 2)
  • I think that Mr. Scott, was in the right, and should be classified as a citizen. I think it was not fair that the court made that decision.
  • I do NOT think Mr. Scott is a US citizen and was not right in suing the court! I think that was wrong of him for dis obeying!
  • John Brown, was a prominent American abolitionist, who famously was the leader of the "Bleeding Kansas" war. He often used brute force to convey the end of slavery.
  • Election of Abraham Lincoln
  • "that all persons held as slaves" within the rebellious states "are, and henceforward shall be free."
  • Dred Scott, a former enslaved man was a prominent abolitionist. The Scott V. Stanford, held in 1857 was one the most vital decisions during the war. The case, determined that whether enslaved or free, as an African American person you were not a citizen of the United States.

  • I think this new act, could extend slavery into our state, which is free!
  •
  • Kansas Nebraska Act (PT 2)
  • I think that you are wrong. I think free states remain free, without dealing with slave states bombarding them!
  •
  • The Kansas Nebraska act, allowed popular sovereignty and allowed all states to choose whether they were a free, or slave state.
  • Yes, exactly: I think giving people free will is not always a good idea.
  •
  • I believe the slave states should reach towards the free states, and transforming them.
