- The conclusion is like a hamburger too! Open with a transition phrase, fill with the three topics of the body paragraphs-no details- end with a connection, question, or other thinking prompt for the reader.
- Form a lead: lead should relate to the DBQ's main idea and should grab the reader's attention.
- Edit the essay before submitting it. be sure you have a heading, end punctuation,commas where needed, and Capitalization.
- There should be three body paragraphs on your essay citing documents that you are using for your dbq. They should be at least 5 sentences long. You need to use at least one document evidence in each paragraph.
- Restate your thesis and end your DBQ Essay by leaving the reader with something to think bout
- Reread through your DBQ and find any grammar mistakes you may have made.
