Climax
A Sergeant comes over to share his stories, among them the tale of a cursed monkey's paw.
Falling Action
Please give me back my son!
The family asks about the monkeys paw, and the serjeant tells them not to. However, they use it anyway. They ask for two hundred pounds, which would be enought o pay off their morgage costs.
Resolution
The familie's son, Herbert, is killed in an industrial accident, and the company he works for sends two hundred pounds as recompense.
"I walk to Burger King..."
The man and his wife, now firmly believing in the power of the paw, wish for the son back. The husband does not think that that would be a good idea, but wishes anyway. They then hear a knock on the door.
KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK
No, we can't!!
Ok, fine
C'mon
As the wife tries to open the door, the husband makes an unknown final wish. When his wife opens the door, there is nothing there but and empty street.
(mumbles incoherently)
NO!!! My son IS dead!!!
