- So this is the famous self driving car, or known as the autonomous car! It has all five sensors like cameras, lidar, Radar, GPS, and also ultrasound sensor!
- O.M.G! I've heard all about it! I really like Lidar the best, in my opinion its very useful! It uses infrared light to find which bounces off of object then comes back to find what is close and far.
- Yes! Also I see there is a GPS right here, that works with satellites that use Triangulation. It tracks your latitude and longitude so you can find yourself on a map! So cool!!
- I totally understand! But have you heard of Radar? It uses radio waves to find object obstacles, it can also find it's way through foggy and rainy days.Though it may have short range.
- Well that was a great ride wasn't it, you even took a nap! Now we can talk about the cameras on it, so cameras read traffic signs, traffic lights, and road markers, stuff that lidar and Radar have trouble doing.
- Yes of course, then finally there is also Sonar right? Sonar uses sound navigation. It listens to sounds nearby objects, navigating at the speed of sound.
