They chase after him but it goes into a log.

I'll get him out.
They did't give up and tried poking him out with a stick.
No it's fine.
No I can get him.
But then a crazy beast, the dogman, popped out.
RUN!
THAT IS NOT A DOG!
Rawr!
The men ran all the way back to their camp and were so scared that they decided to never talk about it again.
