- Hello, I'm your favorite Carbon. Today you will all about the different stages I go through.
- Atmosphere to Biosphere
- I start in the Atmosphere. After that there's a few different places I can head to but for now I'll head to the land plants.
- When I travel from the atmosphere to Biosphere, the carbon dioxide stays on the plants because carbon is released into the air.

- Land Animals Respiration - Consumption
- After I go to the Land Plants, I usually head into the animals. The reason I'm in the animals is because the animals eat the plants that have the carbon on them. Meaning that when the animals breathe, they are releasing carbon dioxide into the Atmosphere.
- During consumption, it doesn't really have an effect on the atmosphere. It can be released back into the air when they breathe but it's not like the carbon being released on the plants.
- Biosphere to Geosphere - Decomposition
- After the deer ate some of the plants that contained Carbon, it didn't set well with it, so it was sick and died.
- After the deer died, their body rotted, which is how it made the soil.
- Which is actually pretty cool that the deer is being recycled into soil.
- When the soil is washed into the rivers or streams, it creates large bodies of water, and then forming sediments
- Geosphere to Geosphere - Decomposers
- The fuels are burned and then they are released back into the atmosphere
- During fossilization, things are burned and compacted together. As the sediments pile up, the layers are heated and compacted. Over some years, natural gases are formed, the fossil fuels would be extracted from wells. The same thing happens during combustion. Organic material is burned.

- During the stages, told by your favorite Carbon, we learned about the different stages of carbon and when carbon is released into the atmosphere, carbon can be inside of us, from all of the gases that are burned.
