Once there was a farmer who lived alone in Sumatra. He went to fish in a river one day and caught a beautiful goldfish.
The goldfish spoke, it spoke!!! This caused the farmer to be so shocked that he became speechless and dropped the fish to the ground.
Please don't eat me! I'll--I'll stay with you--I'll be your wife if you don't eat me!!
The goldish turned into a beautiful girl. And promised to become his wife. The farmer only nodded as he was still shocked.

Please do not be afraid. I'm also a human-- well I was cursed-- But you saved me! And for that I shall be your wife.
So they became husband and wife. With the promise of the husband keeping the secret.

However you must promise me... that you must not tell anyone-ANYONE that I was a fish.
They worked hard, farming and doing their duties. As time passed, they bore a child: a boy.
Their child grew and became a mischievous and disobedient boy. And his father started to become annoyed of his son's antics.
