- This is Holly. Holly is 13 years old. Today she is about to find out about the changes that occur during Adolescence and Puberty.
- Oh thats great honey hope you have fun. Don't get too awkward about it, everyone goes through it.
- Hey Mum, hey Dad I have too go to school early today because we have a lady coming in to talk to the class about Adolescence.
- Yeah hope you enjoy it Holly.
- Good Morning Students My Name is Miss Cook and today I am going to teach you a bit about Adolescence and the stages you will go through
- Now children can you please watch this slide show .
- When you're older you will find that under your arm pits, you will usually have an usual odour. Some times it can really smell.
- The arrows shown here are pointing to the places where both girls and boys will experience growth of pubic hair.
- Girls: Arm pits Reproductive organ area
- Boys: Face Arm pits Reproductive organ area
- This shows our average growth throughout our life.

- This girl has just got her first period. This is something that all girls go through. It can be a traumatizing experience for young girls aged from 10-16. Her breasts also may enlarge around this time.
- This boys voice has just changed from a high pitched voice to a deep voice. His Adam's Apple has also enlarged as he goes through this stage of puberty.
- As we get older we start to think more maturely, and begin to take an interest in the opposite sex. We like to have independence and our own space away from our parents a lot more than we would of, when we were younger.
