- When I was eight years old, I joined AWANA. While I had always went to church, this was different. I learned so much about the Bible and have memorized countless verses that I still lean on today. I also formed friendships that will last a lifetime.
- When I was fifteen, I got my first job. I was a lifeguard at a community pool. I was a lifeguard for two summers, then promoted to pool manager. These jobs taught me how to be responsible with money and the importance of doing a good job regradless of the title.
- When I was seventeen, after many years of dedication, I became an Eagle Scout. Scouting emphasized making good choices and doing good deeds. I had amaizing leaders who demonstrated ethical leadership. They have helped shape me into the man I am today.
- At eighteen years old, I graduated from AWANA and received the highest honors, a Citation Award. I was enormously proud of this achievement. The many lessons and verses I had memorized will help me stay closed to God as I grow older.
- At twenty years old, my mom and I traveled to Europe. I had traveled many places in the United States, but never out of the country. I fell in love with travel. We spent two weeks exploring churches and museums. I will make travel a priority in my future.
- I am now twenty-two years old. I will graduate from Liberty in two weeks. To say I am excited is an understatement. I have already been approached by a former co-worker about an amazing opportunity . This degree will allow me to pursue my passion.
