- You all are doing great!!
- Down by 20 at end of 3rd quarter
- Encouraging talk that changed everything.
- We have been practicing all this time for this moment! Now lets go out there and win!
- The spark of an epic comeback
- It was our championship game and we found ourselves down by 20 points going into the 4th quarter. We were trying our hardest to cut the lead down to at least 10, but it was to difficult. I decided that it might be time to change things up or try to do something.
- Celebration
- Yes!!!! We did it! We won the championship!
- As I sat down I began talking to my players starting to motivate them and tell them to remember everything we worked on. I go on to say this is what we have been training for now lets go out and give it everything we got. It was time to comeback and win!
- Realization
- Have you ever thought of making this a career?
- As my players stepped onto the court and started playing I could see this fire in their eyes and this determination I have never seen. They wanted this victory and you could see that they were determined to get it. Within 3 minutes they began to comeback and cut the lead down to two points. Then finally it was three seconds left and my little brother took the final shot and won the game!
- As we all cheered I looked around at my players and saw the happiness and joy on their faces. You can see how all their hard work paid off in the end. I was overjoyed and so excited. I experienced a feeling of happiness I have never felt. This is something I want to feel everyday!
- As I stood there still overjoyed a mom of one of my players came up to me and asked me if I have ever wanted to make this a career. Then it hit me this is definitely something I want to do. This is definitely a feeling I want to last. I want to see my future students happy and excited that all their work paid off!
