So King Darius sent out 600 ships and 25,000 men’s, Athens new they were greatly outnumber
Pheidippides ran 2 days and night to the marathon. They agreed but would not March until a full moon wish sis 9 days away. Athens couldn’t wait, so they met the Persians on the plains of Marathon.
The Persians was no match for the Athens because they were lightly armor.6,400 Persians were killed and only 192 Athenians were killed.
