- The story goes that a very rich man from Europe arrived in colonial Guadalajara called Don Jorge, who came out dressed in black every night with a mysterious attitude .

- Every time he went out, dead animals appered, but they began to turn into humans.

- The frightened people decidad to go out in search of the culprit, when,near the Pantheon of Bethlehem,they heard screams. it was Don Jorge, attacking a man`s neck with his mouth.

- People chased him, but he managed to flee, so the priest of Guadalajara went to look for him at his hacienda, to exorcise him.

- The Vampirs vowed revenge on everyone when someone drove a stake into his chest.

- When he died, he was buried in the same Pantheon in Bethlehem. But the strange thing happened when a tree began to grow just above Don Jorge`s tombstone,which was broken. The legend says that the day the tree is toppled or the roots completely break the tombstone, Don Joge, the vampire, will return to carry out his revenge.
