- Homeostasis!
- The wood frog is able to produce anti-freeze in order to survive colder temperatures, it stores its urine in its bloodstream then the water in the freezes, ice sucks water out of their cells and the liver makes glucose in order to prevent dehydration!
- Homeostasis is the ability to control and regulate one's internal environment!
- The anti-freeze is what keeps the frog alive, after that the water will flow back like normal and hydrate the frog in order to go on living like normal and continue to find food and a mate!

- Cells!
- Here's what's happening to the cells of the frog! Cells are a part (basic unit) of what makes up the frog and they are very important in this process since they are what is going on inside of the frog!
- Once the frogs lose more than 60% of water it becomes irreversible and the cells will die due to frostbite! YIKES!
- The ice sucks water out of the frog's cells, sugar mixes in with the urine in the blood in order to make the anti-freeze, which packs onto the frogs cells in order to prevent too much water from being drawn out of the cells by the ice

- After all this, water will flow back into the frog's cells, hydrating it again in order to return to how they originally were!
