- I think I like this University!
- Meet Ajay. He's one month in to University and he's settling in. He's enjoying his studies, working at a local Cafe part time, enjoying playing video games, and talking to friends back at home.
- Another month passes by and Ajay feels lonely and unsatisfied with the community within his classes and peers, He feels left out, but he thinks maybe there's other people who feel like him
- There's no comradery... I hate this university!
- Ajay's on his way to a class. He's going to find out how he can involve and participate himself in the community. He doesnt understand how to do this though? Should he speak to a professor? To other peers? Can he join a club or a community project?
- What can I do to help myself here?
- How can I join in with the community?
- We need to establish what you see has a community first. How can we invest in you? Do you want to help get involved with improving the community? We could incorporate this into your work. Speak to your friends and see what they think
- Well, we have different interests. How do we find common ground?
- How can we improve our sense of community?
- It depends, on whether we will have financial support from the university, or not.
- The problem remains for Ajay and his peers, but he will try and find a solution for his problem. But his final question is how will he figure this all out, and what methods will he use to construct a solution?
- Ill develop a mindmap around my potential problems and solutions!
