Hi students, today will be learning about the periodic table!

But first, what is the periodic table?
Is a chart of elements arranged into rows and columns according to their physical and chemical properties it can be used to determine the relationship between elements.

Group is a vertical column of the periodic table of the chemical elements and periods are horizontal row of the periodic table.
The Periodic Table
The families are metals, nonmetals and metalloids. Metals are located to the left of the zigzag staircase except hydrogen. They are shiny, conductors, malleable and ductile. Non-metals are the opposite, they are dull, insulators and brittle. They are located at the right of the zigzag staircase. Metalloids are part of the mixed group 3 through 17, they can be metals, non-metals and metalloids. They are also known as semiconductors
