- Everyone thinks it's an average day. People are talking to each other, kids are getting ice-cream, people are biking. For everyone, it's just an average day. But all of that was about to change.
- Climax
- Tommy convinces everyone that there is an alien among them. They start blaming everyone starting with Tommy, but then it quickly turns to Les Goodman when his car suspiciously starts. Every time a light turns on in a house or a radio can be heard, that person is somehow accused.
- Falling Action
- The people are both confused and angry. The people are fighting each other causing people to attack each other and blame each other because they think they are working for the alien race. This breaks everyone apart causing people to get blamed for no reason.
- Resolution
- Without thinking, Charlie shoots Peter Van Horn. This drives everyone insane. Everyone knows Charlie is the alien among them but he says he does not know who it is. Then Tommy is blamed for starting everything and bringing the thought of the alien among them, up.
- Everyone continues to blame each other. People are throwing out names of who to blame. People such as Steve because of his radio, or Goodman because his house lights went on. Everyone keeps blaming each other tearing each other apart.
- The story then cuts to a scene with aliens looking over the town talking to each other about what is going down on the street. They say how they didn't need to do anything to make the people fall apart and how mans greatest enemy is himself.
