- Billy: Oh look, someone is calling me !!
- Hello there, I am a family member of yours that wants to give my will away, do you want to receive my will? You are entitled to it legally.
- Billy: Oh ok !!! Please give me some money, what do I have to do to get it?
- Ok, you may collect this inheritance, all you need to do if give me your parents credit card details, as the inheritance is difficult to access due to government regulations, taxes and bank restrictions.
- Billy: Wow, sounds so legitimate, my parents credit card numbers are right here !!
- Ok, thank you for your cooperation, your inheritance shall be received soon
- Billy: Yayyy, I will get lots of money, as the information that you gave me has convinced me and sounds extremely legitimate.
- A few weeks later...
- Billy: Still waiting...
- ...
- Billy: Oh noooo, it looks like the detail in which the scammer had communicated to me with convinced me to give them my credit card, I should of either never picked up the phone from the random number, or used logic to determine that the caller was indeed a scammer all along, and that the story that they gave me was absurd in the first place.
- Credit Card Manager: It looks as though your credit card was maxed out, and now you are millions in debt...
