Saint Paul came from a devoted Jewish family. He was born in Tarsus, Cilicia, South Turkey. He grew up in Jerusalem, and learnt religious scriptures and Greek Philosophy with his siblings.

Saint Paul had such a strong belief in Judaism that he went as far as persecuting Christians. this included taking part in stoning. He persecuted followers of Jesus because he believed that Jesus died a 'Criminal death'.
One day, when Saint Paul was riding his horse, He saw Jesus appear to him in a flash of light. Jesus questioned him about his bad ways, and guided Paul to start on a new, right path.
As Jesus has finally set him on the right path, Saint paul then travelled to Damascus to preach the word of God.
After a few years of travelling and preaching, Saint Paul returned to the 12 apostles to tell them his journeys. from then on, he spent his days writing scriptures and letters.
Later in Saint Paul's life, he was beheaded in Rome around 62 AD.
