- Do you know about the story of flint Michigan?
- Well let my tell you sonny boy.

- It all started in 2011 when the governor of Flint Michigan appointed Michel Brown as emergency manager to save Flint money.
- What happened next was that the people of Flint said the water look brown. It turned out that the water had high levels of lead in it.
- Michigan tried to deny this and say it was the plumbing, but a private investigation revealed that Michigan knew there was lead in the water.
- That is evil of Michigan.
- They did it because Michigan had lost have of its population because car factories closed.
- And it had 1.1 billion in unfunded legacy funds and needed to save money. That is why they did it.
- Why did Michigan do this?
- Even though Michigan switched back to clean water in 2015, The damage was done.
- Before Michigan switched water 2.1% of children had high blood lead levels, but after they had switched back to clean water, That amount doubled and tripled in the most affected zip codes.
- That is so sad.
- Well, It is important America because it shows other states to not cut costs on essential services.
- But why is this important to the US?
