Pathos
My brother has DIED from lung cancer... And we were really close to him! We don't want that happening to you!
Logos
Ever heard of what that stuff can do to you? Your life span can be cut by 10 years by smoking.
The principle has a higher status and more creditability, so more people will listen to them. Making this scene an ethos argument.
A close relative has died because of smoking, so this a very emotional scene. Making this a pathos argument.
The scene states a fact on how smoking can effect your life span. So this is a logos argument.
