- These are 3rd class immigrants watching as the boat drives off from dropping them off.This is important because it shows how they got to Ellis island.

- This is a picture of somebody with the wrong papers and waiting on the 3rd floor of a building for who knows how long. This is important because it show's who has right papers to enter America and who doesn't.
