- Where were you at the time of the murder ? What was your reaction ? When did you see Steve last time ?
- Anne's Alibi
- The last night, in London, there was a murder. A 25- year-old man called Steve was stabbed in his appartement.
- John's Alibi
- There are 3 suspects : his girlfriend Anne, his brother John and his colleague Matthew. Two police officers question them to know their alibi. They ask the same questions.
- Matthew 's Alibi
- I was in the hospital, I’m a doctor. I operated on a person who had a traffic accident. I was sad, I lost my boyfriend who was murdered. I don’t feel good after his death. I saw him for the last time when we got up yesterday morning.
- The culprit
- I was in my home, I spoke with a guest about one of my current affairs. I was sad, I lost my little brother. We had a very good relationship. I saw him four days ago when we ate together at our favourite restaurant.
- I was at the bank with Steve, we worked together. I saw him yesterday at twenty-one hours when I left the bank to get back home. Steve had not finished his financial file. His reaction, he shows no emotion.
- After the different interrogation, the police officers question the nurses who were with Anne during the medical operation and the John‘s guest. They both have a solid alibi. However, Matthew was alone at the time of the murder. By investigating of Matthew, they discover that he had stolen money from the accounts of several bank customers. To find out the truth, they question Matthew again. He confessed that Steve found out what he had done. Steve told him he was going to call the director of the bank. So, he decided to kill him.
