Chandra Gupta l took lead by war and conquest and became the first king of the Gupta Empire.
Medical Advancments
The Gupta empire reached its peak under the rule of Chandra Gupta ll. He expanded the empire to its biggest size and power. To keep the empire stable, he tried to bring peace and prosperity to India, and some subjects even gained citizenship rights.
An astronomer and mathematician from the Gupta empire, named Aryabhata, made important discoveries in mathematics and astronomy. He discovered the concept of zero, the decimal system, algebra, etc. He also discovered that the Earth rotated on its axis along with other astronomical advancements.
Medicine was improved it allowed to created different types of vaccines like the small pox vaccine. They even had a form of plastic surgery. There were free hospital were people could go get treated for their illnesses
