- During this scene, George Washington was leading his troops across the icy Delaware River on Christmas Eve. When the troops arrived, the Hessian's were celebrating too early so it was an easy victory for the Patriots. This success allowed the Patriots to keep on fighting in the war. Without this victory, they would most likely all be dead right now.

- Battle of Saratoga
- The Battle of Saratoga started when the Patriots had help from France to help supply and train troops at the Winter Valley Forge. This is when British troops ran into the larger well trained Patriots and got into a war. In return, the British were handed a huge defeat. The cause of this war changed Britain's focus from the Northern colonies to the Southern Colonies
- Battle of Kings Mountain
- At the Battle of King's Mountain, patriot troops from Virginia and North Carolina combined their troops together to fight the British at King's Mountain. With the combined effort against the Loyalists and the location, it was another easy victory for the Patriots, Some British even tried to surrender but they had shown the same amount of mercy, none.
