- I need to run some errands today. I am going to go to the store and buy some sodium chloride for the table, sodium bicarbonate for baking and sodium hypochlorite to clean my toilet.
- Wanna hear my favorite Chemistry joke? Neon and Sodium are hanging out and sodium tells a joke. "That wa sodium funny" Sodium says. "Yes, I was slapping my neon that one" Neon replies......Okay, now time to go to the store.
- I find it so funny that the small things in life are created by things even smaller. I am on my way to go pick up my groceries, it is crazy that my groceries can also be referred to as ionic compounds!
- An ionic compound is a chemical compound created by ions being held together through an "ionic bonding" process. Covalent bonds are also quite present in our lives. Covalent bonds are when two atoms share electrons. Examples of a covalent bond in real life could be water (H20) or even the air we breathe! ((O2)
