- In the atmosphere, carbon exists in the form of carbon dioxide gas,carbon is removed from the atmosphere and it helps make food for the plants

- carbon is move fromplants to animals through out the food chain. For example, herbivores eat the plants, carnivores eat herbivores

- The oceans, and other bodies of water.it soaks up the carbon and then it would get it from the atmosphere
