- I wonder how hard it's going to be here. Maybe they'll stress me out more than high school!
- What am I even doing here?? I probably won't even make it past a year.
- I don't even want to think oF all the writing i'm going to do...
- Wow I got an A on my essay! This might be my best paper yet. My last one was only a 91%.
- I can't do this.. I'm not even on the same level as any of these people..
- First thoughts that I had while coming to UIC for the first time.
- If I'm ever going to survive I have to just try my hardest and not give up. Not that I have my idea its time to work!
- Me receiving good grades for past writing assignments in high school

- Lost hope for the project and wanted to give up on it
- If I want to make my mark I have to put in equal or more work than these guys.
- After lots of thinking I finally got an idea of what to write about and many sparks came to my mind
- For WP2 working in a group was the hardest part. I have never wrote a paper with others and to do it with others that are better writers made it more nerve wrecking.
- I knew if I wanted to match my team members I would have to try a bit harder and do a bit more work so that my presence was known and respected.
