- Scene 1
- Come on lets go!
- I am going to find these men that are cruel and fear the gods. One of you stay here, the rest with me!
- Scene 2
- who is in my cave?!
- Let's go inside and see if we can find him!
- Scene 3
- WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY HOME?
- We are here to tach you about Zeus. Our boat got destroyed and that's why we stopped by.
- Odysseus and his crew were on a ship and stopped by the shore as darkness fell. Odysseus selects men to explore the land that they were about to step foot on. They saw a cave and stopped.
- Scene 4
- GIVE ME SOME MORE WINE
- Would you like so wine?
- Some of the men guarded the ship while food and wine off of the ship to go into the cave. When they got to the cave, the Cyclops weren’t there so they went inside and explored. Since the cyclops wasn’t there they ate his food waiting for him and when he got back, the people got scared and went into a corner but the cyclops found them and started asking questions.
- Scene 5
- Don't mess with us!
- The people were scared of the Cyclops but answered the questions that were asked. The cyclops started asking where his ship was and didn’t believe in Zeus. The people started lying to the Cyclops and starts saying his boat got destroyed. The Cyclops didn’t believe them and he began to eat the flesh of the two people.
- Scene 6
- This is what you get in return!
- He began eating more men over again, another two this time. After he was done eating he let his flock go into the mountain but still held the people hostage. Then the Cyclops used a piece of wood and the captain told these selected men to smooth the wood. And again he ate two more men. The captain thought it was a good idea to give the Cyclops some wine and the Cyclops liked it and began to ask for more.
- The Cyclops got more and more wine. The cyclops decided that he would eat all the members of the ship first before him. The cyclops was drunk and started to sleep. Nobody and his crew decided that they were going to stick the wood in the cyclops’s eye after he was hot. They stuck it into his eye and blood starts pouring out.
- The cyclops were clearly in pain and the men were happy that they were going to be able to escape, they were just waiting for the light. One of the sheep was last into the field and Odyssey thought he was grieving over the cyclops dying. The Odyssey thinks that stabbing the Cyclops in the eye was a way of the gods getting back at him.
