- Steps to get your full Drivers License are -To get the full driving license in BC , First of all you have to take your graduate licensing (GLP) , It includes three tests - One knowledge test and two road tests . By going through the GLP ,the new drivers are able to learn driving safely and it helps them to learn in the right environment with low risk . 1. Get your learners license -L Knowledge Test + Vision Screening Test = L Legal Guardian signature on the content (if you are under 19 )Fee for the knowledge testTake the practice test to know about the rules and get more confidenceBook the appointment and take the knowledge test in the ICBC drivers licensing office Then pass your vision screening test
- 2. Get your Novice license - N1 year with supervisor + class 7 road test = N Practice a road test with a supervisor and take a driving course for 1 year .Book a class 7 road test After 1 year of training with a supervisor, take and pass the road test - Penalties are Restricted in Graduated license With N and L license you are not allowed to use any electronic device , hand free system Use of any alcohol or drugs related things are restricted Note - The use of restricted things can led to fines and penalties
- 3. Get your full License 2 year driving experience + Class 5 road test = Full driving license After 2 years of driving experience with N license you can take a class 5 road test or with in 18 month if you have done the ICBC driver training course Book and pass the Class 5 road test Now if you have done all the three tests you will get your full license with no more restrictions of GLP
