- There was a grand party being held at the mansion in the mountains. Everything was going well when suddenly a creature appeared. Everyone was panicking except for three girls. They were the servant girl, whose pet had entered the room, Greta and Prudence.
- After the party was over and all the guests had left, Prudence and Greta pulled the servant girl aside to talk to her.
- So at the next party the servant girl let two of her animals out. She got severely punished but neither Angela nor Greta spoke up for her.
- This did not have a good outcome because now they think they are above everyone and that everything should be the way they want. They had been so bored at the party so they were delighted by the surprise. The servant girl on the other hand was even sadder than before because if her mistress thought her pet had come there because of her she would be kicked out for sure. Everyone there was already extremely angry at her. Greta and Prudence were born into wealthy families so they were shielded from life's disappointments.
- One particular party was especially special and the mistress did not want anything to go wrong.
- The servant girl begged Prudence not to make her do this saying that she had not released her pet, but Prudence refused. Only then did Greta realise her mistake and begged Prudence not to do this. Prudence said she better go along with it or there will be consequences. While this had been happening Angela had been spying on them. Prudence said that if the servant girl did not release one of her other pets at the party then Prudence would tell her mum, the mistress of the house and the servant girl, that the servant girl had released one of her pets on purpose.
- The mistress was furious and said that the servant girl will be punished with all of her previous punishments and then sent away. The servant girl begged for forgiveness and mercy but she was denied any.
- And this kept going on party after party. More and more animals, worse and worse punishments. Until...
- Finally Prudence saw what she had done. She confessed to her mother begging mercy and forgiveness for her and the others. The mistress was shocked and the servant girl gratified.
- She warned the servant girl not to cause any trouble. But the servant girl was forced to release half her animals.
- Angela and Greta finally spoke up about it not being the servant girl's fault. The mistress grew even angrier and raged at all of them. Accusing them of lying about her daughter and banning all three of them from returning.
- The mistress punished her daughter and apologised immediately saying nothing like that will never happen again. But, of course, it did. That was not the first time our poor servant girl had been in a situation like that.
