- Before we solve our problem we should make it into a quadratic equation first, so it becomes x^2 - 80x +1500=0
- If we substitute 50 and 30 to our quadratic inequality earlier, both of them are false meaning both roots are not a solution.
- The quadratic inequality that we should use to represent our problem is x^2 - 80x +1500<0
- Since both roots are false we will then find the closest integers to the roots. In this case we will use 29,31,51
- Then we use the quadratic formula and we should get 50 and 30.
- When we substitute 31 into our quadratic inequality, the result would be true .
- Because of these, we came up with this solution: (30<x>50)
- When we substitute 29 into our quadratic inequality, the result would be false.
- When we substitute 51 into our quadratic inequality, the result would be false.
