- im scared of what i will have to do to be able to feed my family. The world is in a very bad financincial state and the stock market has crashed.
- This is Joe. He is worried because of the financial problems that he will have to face due to the stock market crash. That caused the prices of crops to go down. Farmers are now being forced to find a new way to make money to be able to support their families. All of that was caused after WW1. Farmers owned more land and equipment that they needed and the demands for their products went down.
- even if we get a lot of rain and all the crops grow i don't think we will make much money due to the low prices.
- Many teens had to leave their homes and get on trains to try and go find money opportunities somewhere else. They would get on trains for the travel but it was both very dangerous and illegal but they had no other options but to leave and try to find jobs to make money. The ones who left to try and find a way out of the poverty had to sleep in the streets, under bridges or anywhere as long as they got some sleep.
