Ralph found a conch with piggy and used it to call the other boys.
Piggy
"I bet you can hear that for miles."
Boys started coming and Piggy started to ask their names.
Were Sam and Eric!
"Johnny"
"Whats your name?"
Jack and the other choir boys came.
There is no adult with the trumpet. Only me.
"Wheres the man with the trumpet?"
"We'd better all have names, so im Ralph"
Ralph, Piggy, and Jack were taling about names when Jack called Piggy a fatty.
You cant call him that!
Im Merridew.
"Shut up fatty."
"Then, that boy- I forget-"
Ralph brought up the idea of having cheifs, and Rodger asked for a vote.
"We need to decide bout being rescued. Semms like we ought to have a cheef to decide things."
I should be cheif!
"Lets Hve a vote."
Ralph finally gets voted as cheif because the majority of the boys chose him.
"Im cheif then."
"Him with the shell... Let him be cheif with the trumpet thing!"
