- Act 1 - Scene 1 - A fight between the servants occurs, the prince breaks it up and threatens their lives should they do it again.

- Act 1 - Scene 2 - Lord Capulet and Paris discuss Paris' want to marry Juliet. Capulet believes that Juliet is too young to be married, but Paris insists.

- Act 1 - Scene 3 - Lady Capulet finds Juliet and discusses with the nurse if Juliet is ready to get married yet. Lady Capulet proposes that she should get married to Paris, but Juliet is hesitant and not very willing. However, she will keep him in mind.
- Act 1 - Scene 4 - Romeo, Benvolio and Mercutio attend the Capulet's traditional masquerade feast.
- Act 1 - Scene 5 - Romeo spots Juliet from the other side of the room. He forgets all feelings he ever had for Rosaline, and is now deeply in love with Juliet. After briefly talking, they kiss.
- Act 2 - Scene 1 - Romeo decides that he must find Juliet, and climbs into the Capulet orchard. Juliet appears in the window, and they confess their love for each other.
