- So...are you going to fix me?"
- So, you finally decided to wake up? We’ve been waiting for weeks. The doctors pulled you out of the freeze a while ago
- Oh? You don’t remember? We figured as much. After all, your hippocampus isn’t very active.
- Throughout the millennia that we have existed, we have continually suffered from pain, strife, anguish, wars, and anger. and it was all because of our knowledge. Intelligence is truly more of a curse than a blessing. That's why I have organized the North American United Commonwealth, an organization bent on bringing an era of peace to our chaotic planet. For the past few decades, our citizens have been in complete and total ignorance.
- Jason, before the disaster that exploded the world into apocalyptic mayhem, humanity had achieved knowledge great enough to do astounding things. We were at our height, our golden age. It was quite elementary to place several thousand people into a ‘freeze’.
