- Hey, I am Spanish explorer CoronadoI went on a mission from 1540-1542 to search for Cibola, the city of gold, but The mission failedDuring my journey I became the first Europeanexplorer to discover Palo duro Canyon, The Grand Canyon, and the Pacific Ocean. My expedition was a failure because I didn't find gold which caused the Spanish to loose interest and ignore Texas for a brief time.

- Hello, I am a famous French explorer, La Salle. In 1685 I went on a expedition to Missisipi river, but accidently ended up at Matagorda Bay. Once there I built a fort called Fort St. Luis. On my way back from his expedition I was killed by my own men. My expedition caused Texas to gain more interest from the Spanish.

- Hello, I am a Spanish explorer, Leslie Ruby Najera Sanchez. In 1519 I went on a mission to conquer the Aztecs for their gold and silver. Spain gained wealth because of my successful expedition. Also it led to the first mainland settlement and exploration northward into Texas in search for gold and silver
