- My group and I have decided on a law we want to create.
- We have decided to do our law on a very serious problem in society that has to do with a very touché subject for many people.
- The law we want to make is for molesters/rapists to have higher sentences in prison and bigger punishments to be placed on these criminals.
- We believe that even if the person is proven non-guilty that they should still at least get probation for 11 months - 5.5 years.
- We also believe that there should be a life sentence because if you’re willing to take someone else’s life into your own hands and ruin it: you should not have control of your own life.
- We should have way harsher punishments for these types of people and should listen more intently to victims of such shameful acts.
- I feel that too many people have been ignored after telling the truth and that too many people have gotten away with such a heinous crime.
- We think that in cases in which the molester/rapist kills the victim that they should be given a death sentence.
