- Prince Prospero is introduced while the time of the Red Death, a plague that has devastated his kingdom.
- Climax
- Prince Prospero was happy and excited anyways. He believed that he could escape death. He invited many healthy and wealthy people.
- Falling Action
- Prospero had showed the guests all his rooms he had created and they were impressed by them. The last room was all black with red windows but it was very weird and disturbing to the guests so they decided no to enter.
- Resolution
- It´s almost midnight when there is a guest that appears to be dressed as a plague victim.
- Prince Prospero does not agree with the guests poor judgement on the new guest´s costume. He decides to greet the guest. When he approaches him, he immediately dies.
- As guests try to overcome the mysterious intruder but they figure out there is nobody under the costume. All the guests die after coming in contact with the Red Death.
