- Oh no! I've been assigned to read a 166 page novel and do a report! I am confident in my writing abilities but, my reading abilities are lacking. I am scared that I will not be able to complete the assignment and then fail the class as a result. What am I going to do?
- Okay! So, I'm going to try my very best and take it one page at a time. If I do it this way, maybe I can complete the assignment.
- It not working! It is so difficult for me to read fluently enough in order to form a picture in my head of what the words are saying. I have no idea what is happening in this book. I might fail this class!
- Sis', will you help me? Will you please read the novel aloud to me? I'm having a hard time on my own.
- Of course / will! I love to read and I love helping my sister!

- Yea! My listening skills are much stronger than my reading skills. My sister reading to me was just the kind of support I needed to complete the assignment! What a fabulous novel!
