- Hi! Welcome to the Carboniferous ERA. I'm the ghost caveman who teaches people about coal, which is a brown or commonly black sedimentary rock that is formed through a geological prosses.

- The buriedmatter turned to Peteand with pressure, time and heat, the Peteturned to Lignite, which turned to coal. This prosses took about 300 to 360 million years. Not much. This coal is stored deep, deep underground
- PEAT: Is sometimesconsidered coal and and has been used as fuel in one places. It is helpful to clear oil spills
- sub-bituminous coal: Is used for electricand steam power
- LIGNITE: is the first coal to be formed
