- Look where I am! That's right! I'm at U.S Capitol! The U.S Capitol! This is something a lot of people think of when they think of our American government. But what exactly is our government? Well, join me and my friends as we explain what it is. Let's go!
- The United States is a democracy. This means that we get our leaders and make laws by voting for people to do so! So basically, we have the power! (Unless you're under 18. Sorry Kids!
- There are two types of Democracy: Direct and Representative. In a direct democracy, the people vote on all laws directly, meaning they do it themselves. In a representative democracy, the people vote for other people for vote and debate on laws for them.
- What type of democracy does the U.S have? Well, the U.S have? Well the U.S has a Representative democracy. We vote on people like our president and congressmen to make laws for us! someone else. We vote for the president every 4 years, and for our senate and congress every year. These people serve until they either retire, full their full term (president), or are outvoted by someone else.
