- Romeo is a member of the Montague family, son of Lord Montague and Lady Montague. He fell in love with Juliet.

- Juliet is daughter of Lord, and Lady Capulet, so she's a Capulet. She is almost 14, and fell in love with Romeo. She's very pretty.
- Lord Capulet

- Prince Escalus does not have a side he's in whether it's the Capulet's or Montague's he's in the middle. He just wants there to be peace in the town of Verona.
- Nurse
- "Go on, girl- look for happy NIGHTS that will bring happy DAYS." Pg. 36
- A part of the Capulet family, nephew to lady Capulet, protecting them. Always ready to fight, a hotheaded person.
- Patriarch of the Capulet family, father of Juliet. He's very wealthy. Adversary of the Montague's, especially Lord Montague.
- Servant of the Capulet family, Juliet's foster mother, very talkative, humorous, loves making jokes.
