Matt and Eric are college roommates and good friends.
You guys need to find a compromise that makes both of you happy.
One night however, Matt is trying to get some sleep due to his classes being early in the morning. Eric is keeping him up because he is playing music and studying for a big test.
I can stay up a little later so you don't have to worry about keeping me up.
Ok. I guess I can go without listening to music while I study.
They end up getting into an argument over it. Since they are friends, they listen to what each other has to say.
They end up bringing in their friend Kyle to help them find a compromise that works for both of them.
After Kyle leaves, Matt and Eric discuss ways that they can both study and get some sleep.
The next week, Eric has another test coming up, but now he compromises, and so does Matt, so that they both can be happy. (Good roommates are understanding and respectful of each other. They also are willing to make compromises to resolve conflicts.)
