- Two household members are dining out at a restaraunt. They have their smart phones with the Stay Smart application installed. Their household has multiple cameras, doors, lights and alarms.
- Outdoor Lights Turn On
- At 5:30pm, whilst dining out, the homeowners recieve a notification from Stay Smart that motion has been detected at the front door and the front door has been opened.
- Threat Detected
- Threat Detected at Porch CameraAlarm activated
- The homeowners review the alert which lets them know that Jack, another household member, was the motion that was detected, therefore no threat detected.
- Threat Management
- Stay SmartAll doors LOCKED
- As the light levels drop, the outdoor lights begin to turn on automatically to ensure that dark areas around the home remain lit.
- On the way back home, the homeowners are alerted to a serious threat. The person detected is not identifiable, therefore the alarm is activated.
- The homeowners respond by locking all doors. The unknown threat is deferred by multiple measures including alarms, lights, cameras and locked doors. The homewoners return and contact the police with recordings of the threat.
