- Tom is one of the few white frogs in his population, even if the white and green frogs don't look alike they have a common ancestor they were descendant offsprings.
- Since always the white frogs are getting attacked by a heron. The heron only attacks white frogs, because they have a genetic variation, also their phenotype doesn't help because they don't camouflage with the grass. The heron is a dangerous predator he killed almost all the withe frogs, thankfully Tom is still alive.
- After some years all the white frogs have disappeared, well some of them survive and adapt to their habit like Tom, so they became green frogs, now they are not anyone's prey.
- But their habit is starting to change and it's getting cooler and it's snowing every day, so what once was green grass right now is all with and with snow, and this doesn't help the green frogs.
- The heron can see the green frogs now so he starts to attack, he was able to kill some, but Tom and the other frogs were able to escape, almost everyone gets killed by the heron.
- Tom and some of the green frogs by natural selectionevolve again. Tom had a Genetic mutation so it was easier to change for him but for the others, it was a little harder.
