- The beginning
- Thank you. I am starving I have not eaten for days.
- I already planted the potatoes. We can harvest and eat them by tomorrow
- The blight begins
- What happen? What are we gonna eat?
- The potatoes are rotten
- I don't know but we need to find the place
- The journey to Doolough
- How long more must we walk?
- In the beginning, Ireland was ruled and was a part of England. Unfortunately, they were kicked to the west side since the east side has better plantation. Many irish had to rely on potatoes since potatoes could be grown at that area.
- Ireland
- A disease called the blight spreaded across whole of Ireland. The potatoes grew bad and many Irish people lost their source of food. Most of them starved to death
- Gouvermant's solution
- No!!!This can't be happening
- Many Irish people walked 12 miles to Doolough in search for food and money. However, the journey was too far and the Irish were hungry and tired, thus many of them lost their tragic lives here
- The seperation
- Ireland's population dropped and many of the towns and cities were deserted since many moved to Britain.
- The gouvermant of Ireland panicked as he found about the situation. All efforts to try and saved the country failed. He tried to get help from Britain but unfortunately they did not want to help Ireland.
- Many people moved from Ireland to Britain since there was plenty of food there. As such, Ireland planned to seperate from Britain and start their own country.
