- He searches for options around him and discovers the Food Waste App. He is happy to find a solution that fulfills his hunger need and environmental ideology.

- Sam discovers that the app lists restaurants nearby that are selling their soon-to-be wasted food at a discounted price. He purchases a meal from a favorite restaurant.
- Sam heads over to Loring Pasta bar to get his food. Hewalks in, shows his confirmation, and the food is ready to be picked up.
- Samis proud to have saved a soon-to-be thrown away meal, and happy to leave with his budget-friendly local meal. He is so pleased that he signs up for the app's reward program.
