- The Rainy Day It was eight A.M. on a Monday morning Sarah was eating her breakfast. After she finished her food she was rushing to get out of the house, It was time for her to go to the bus stop. Sarah's mother told her to remember to get her umbrella because it was going to rain soon. Her mother knew that she had to walk home from the bus stop. but as soon as Sarah heard the bus honking its horn she ignored her mom and ran outside. When she got home later that day she was soaking wet.

- The central idea is even though Sarah knew it was going to rain she didn't bring an umbrella.
