- It was hard to see down the thick smog outside. all the way home in the street crusier Melanie wonder when her parents would take her tothe natural park. It was the last place where wild birds live. Her parents half promised her to take her during the cristmas vacation

- When the wonderful day arrived at last, Melanie could hardly blelive it. she was in a helicopter in her way to the park. she sat next to her dad in the passenger seat. the copter flew over a lake that looked like it was full of silver. when they landed melanie jump of the helicopter and she went to go find the flamingos while dad was talking to the caretaker of the park. she found a flamingo just standing there like a tower she ran into the water about to touch the flamingo when her dad said to get out of there, but she touched it, it felt cold and hard, it was just a plastic bird the was stuck in hthe mucd
- Meline began to cry, the caretaker told to her father that when the last flamingo died he though if he put a fake one far away people would think its real and we figured out the water is posion so thats why all the flamingos died
- Melanie hered what the caretaker said and she put the flamingo back up and said goodbye and walked to here father.
